Happy, happy Friday! While this week definitely felt on the longer side, I personally loved being back into my working routine this week. As mentioned last weekend, I’ve been dog sitting at my bestie’s house and I couldn’t be enjoying it more… And luckily, I have one more week of this little staycation ahead of me! I’ve admittedly been a bit of a hermit… Just getting a workout in, walking their cute dog a few times a day, and cranking out work… But I’ve loved every second! It’s definitely interesting how I feel more at home at their place than my own.
I’ve actually been working on two different business ventures this week (one totally new, and one more so just an expansion of what I’ve already been doing behind the scenes) and it’s felt SO refreshing to switch it up a little bit! I’m so, so, so excited to share more about both of them in the coming weeks and months. Of course, I always plan on maintaining (and growing!) this little corner of the internet, but I’m really feeling lit up by adding some new projects to my plate this year.
Happy weekend, friends! xoxo jess
Here are this week’s finds…
I talk about this every single year (2016, 2018, 2019), but in case you’re new around here or have missed it… Every January, Diptyque releases a limited-edition candle, which is always a rose-based fragrance (my favorite!) in an even prettier jar! To this day, 2015’s Rosafolia scent is my favorite ever… I’ve never not liked the limited-edition, but man oh man was Rosafolia just amazing. I just ordered 2020’s Paris en Fleur and can’t wait to see what it’s like! (Love how it’s a tribute to Paris!)
I recently learned of Give Back Box and I’m obsessed with what they’re doing! “Retailers such as Amazon are teaming up with local charities to use empty shipping boxes and get rid of the clutter filling homes. After removing your order from your shipping box, fill it with clothes, etc. you want to donate, and visiting GiveBackBox.com to print a free shipping label. The box can be dropped off with USPS or picked up. You can also print a receipt for tax use.” Learn more here!
My friend, Jillian, just launched a line of gorgeous earrings! This first collection was inspired by her brand‘s love for hand-sewn sequin stiles from the 1960s and 80s. Like the detailed craftsman ship of vintage jewelry that they’ve collected for the last decade, they’re committed to quality and are producing in some of the same factories as Rebecca de Ravenel and Oscar de la Renta!
If you need a children’s gift, these rainbow blocks are SO cute and just $30!
This side table looks like West Elm, but it’s only $100 at Target! Such a great find.
I’ve been on the hunt for a good winter hat (not a beanie, more of a fashion piece) and I stumbled upon this $44 style that comes in four colors. Yes, please! I’m a little nervous about the one-size, but hopefully I can make it work.
This beach towel is so cute… If any of these destinations speak to you, I’d scoop it up. (Amelia Island, Sarasota, Avalon, Kiawah, Cape Cod, Watch Hill, Key West, Martha’s Vineyard, & Nantucket)
Finding cute belt bags is nearly impossible and OH MY GOODNESS I found the cutest raffia one with a striped belt that’s SO CUTE FOR SUMMER. Under $100, too. I’m trying not to shop much this month, but I’m ordering this on Feb 1, haha.
Loving this marble vanity tray!
How to Make an Old Sofa Look New Again (+ a pet hair trick!!)
You guys know my Cali York tee, right?! I’ve had it for a few years and wear it constantly! Welp I just found it in a really cute blush pink version for $25. Total steal, as mine was $140. It’s available in all sizes, too! (For any of those outfit details, see this post.)
I need to go try these dumplings in West Town!
I recently thought of my beloved Lite Brite and was delighted to find that they’re still available! I need to buy one for my niece.
LOVED Jacey’s vulnerability in this post entitled, Things I’m Afraid to Tell You
My friend Allison wrote a great article about a health scare she had last year… My Birth Control Pills Gave Me a Liver Tumor
Need to try this Skinny Baked Chicken Tender recipe.
OOOOMG, this collection of vintage ski suits is EPIC.
I just found the gold statement earrings that I’ve had for years (and still continue to wear!) at Saks Off Fifth for 40% off. I wear them year round and they’ve held up so well! They work with holiday looks, resort wear, everything.
These earrings are sort of similar but even more FABULOUS! I definitely don’t need them, but if you have any black tie galas or charity events coming up… *adds to cart*
PS: I finally added products to my Amazon Shop! I figured it would be an easy way to keep so many recommendations under one roof. I filtered it down by categories (beauty, books, household items, electronics, wellness, fashion), but let me know if there’s another category you’d like to see me add.
