Gift Guide: Beauty Buff

BEAUTY-BUFF-GIFT-GUIDE

Gift Guide #2 coming in H-O-T! I may or may not have lined this one up with the SEPHORA VIB SALE! (You are welcome.) 20% off at Sephora all weekend long if you’re a VIB. (Use code VIB20 at checkout!) If you’ve got a beauty guru on your shopping list this year, this guide is for you. Or we can all just call a spade a spade… This guide is all about gifting yourself. This is the one time of the year where you can splurge on the expensive eye cream, try a new perfume, and stock up on your makeup must-haves. Because honestly, this stuff never really goes on sale! Let’s take advantage of the savings while we can, shall we?

Karen Walker Tortoise Brushes  |  L’Occitane Hand Cream  |  Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish  |  Cat Nap Sleep Mask  |  Chloe ‘Roses’  |  YSL Touche Éclat with Lips  |  Caudalie Moisture Mask  |  Louboutin Lipstick  |  Burberry Contour Pen  |  Origins Mask  |  NARS Eyeshadow  |  Tata Harper Mask  |  Naked Eyeshadow Palette

Now for some beauty chat…`

Anastasia DipBrow Pomade — I’ve got a freaking awesome post fully dedicated to the art of the brow coming to the blog next week. (Seriously get excited, it changed my life. And my face shape. Which is basically the same thing.) Any who, this is my eyebrow product of choice. I fill in my sparse areas with a little bit of this pomade (I use the “blonde” shade and use this brush!) and then top them off with clear brow gel.

I’m kind of a Caudalie worshiper. I use this mask once or twice a week, I use this detox oil every single night, I have multiple bottles of this spray that I keep in my bags for mid-day freshen-ups, and I also use this before my moisturizer in the morning. I’m also obsessed with this eye cream, but it costs a fortune. Needless to say, I’m buying it at the 20% off rate this weekend. It’s just so good! (And you know what they say… Your eyes are the windows to your soul. So it’s important to invest in quality skincare for your delicate eye area, right?) I’m also dying to try this Moisture MaskAdding to cart. They have a few different value sets that would make for the perfect gift for the skincare snob (like myself) in your life. one / two / three

Speaking of eyes, I’ve been using this powder and this brush to set my undereye concealer and OMG IT IS MIRACULOUS. Trust. You also cannot go wrong with this setting powder. Again, just trust. Game changers, you guys.

Is there anything more luxurious than a fabulous makeup brush? Not really, no. Just wait until you see these — Karen Walker did a collab with Sephora and their her signature tortoise with gold accents. I DIE. Slash, I already purchased them.

For all of the Touche Éclat fans out there, how cute is this limited edition packaging for holiday? Adore the red lips!

Tata Harper — My friend Grace is absolutely obsessed with this line. (It’s 100% natural!) I’m dying to try the Resurfacing Mask, the Oil Cleanser, and the Purifying Cleanser.

SK-II — You literally cannot go wrong with SK-II! This is a great starter kit.

Contour Kit — One of my goals in the coming months is to finally learn how to contour! I kind of have the hang of it just using bronzer to shade in the proper areas, but I want like a full-blown contour kit to really experiment. (Yay for learning how to use makeup at the age of 26. #embarrassing) I’ve heard amazing things about this contour pen. Most makeup artists have told me to look for a dark powder that has a hint of grey to it. (Like this one, perhaps?) Any favorite contour products you swear by that I should pick up this weekend?!

I’m a huge mask fan.. I do them multiple times a week! I love this one, I’m wanting to try this one and this one, I use this one religiously, I’ve also heard great things about this oneThis mask gift set would be perfect for the girl who likes to pamper at home!

Also, let’s talk mascara for a second — I swore by They’re Real for close to, like, three years or something. I just recently let the Benefit people convince me into getting Roller Lash and oh my gosh, obsessed. For a night out, I actually layer the two! Roller Lash with They’re Real on top.

I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I buy this lip balm in bulk. I hoard it, literally. And now it’s in a cute bejeweled case?! NEED!

Not quite beauty, but still 20% off at Sephora… Two of my favorite holiday candles! This one for Christmas and this one for the entire fall season. I have and love them both!

I love those tortoise brushes! I’m trying to figure out the whole “contouring” thing, so far it hasn’t worked too well for me. I’m excited to see how you do it!
