Happy… Sunday, haha. I’m sorry this post is a few days late, but this has been one crazy week. Between taking on the Positive Impact lead for our Remote Year group, throwing together a last-minute beer pong fundraiser on Friday, my debit card being compromised and someone charging over $4k in fraudulent charges, and then another account getting compromised and me being fairly certain that my identity may actually be getting stolen, on top of a handful of personal things… It’s been a friggen week. There were plenty of things that went well, though, so I’m trying to focus on the positives!
This weekend was low key and it was very much needed… On Saturday, I went to yoga followed by a sound healing meditation with tibetan bowls, followed by a massage later that evening. And on Sunday, I got up and walked over nine miles on Ciclovia, which is one of my favorite things to do here in Medellin each weekend! From 7am to 1pm, they shut down one of the main roads in Medellin for you to bike, run, rollerblade, or walk. It’s a great way to get some exercise and great for people-watching, too.
Hope you had a good one! Here’s what’s been on my radar this week…
I’m obsessed with this rattan chair! Looks like a piece from Serena & Lily, but for a fraction of the price… It’s under $100!
LEOPARD PRINT NORDIC BOOTS. I NEED THESE!! Perfect for my snowy NYE trip.
One of my all-time favorite bloggers, Blair from Atlantic-Pacific, has a collection launching with Nordstrom in the morning. Mark your calendars for 8am CST on Monday, 10/22.
Must. Have. This. Plaid. Blazer.
I’m also going to need this little faux fur bag… It’s under $30 and I want it in every single color. Dark green is probably my fav, but orange is perfect for Illini games and Bears games, too. Blush pink and black are classic!
Speaking of being a badass, you can find so many cute stocking stuffers here.
No surprise here… Chicago is the best city in the US! (So many of my favorite places to visit on the small cities list, too.)
How cute are these rust-colored, polka-dot-covered bow mules?!
I have an old pair of leather mules that look a lot like this pair and I get so many compliments on them and questions when I wear them on IG!
So inspired by the work that Mackenzie’s family is doing!
These ankle booties are the perfect heel height! I can see myself wearing them all fall and winter long.
Tips for Fighting Insomnia — I use a lot of these myself!
Loving these black, grey, and white leggings!
This list made me chuckle… I love Colombia, but can relate to quite a few of these. 19 Things I Hate About Colombia
