Rosé Season

Rosé All Day. Bows & Sequins favorite affordable rosé wines.

I thought it would be fun to start a little happy hour series just in time for the warm weather we’ve all been waiting for! (My Chicago and NYC gals know what I mean… 40 degrees in May? Give me a break.) A few Thursdays a month, I’ll be sharing some of my go-to cocktail recipes and entertaining ideas to get you through the summer! First up? My favorite rosé wines! I discussed it in more depth in this post, but I’m very particular about my rosé… A self-proclaimed connoisseur. Here are my ten favorites to sip on all summer long…

Bows & Sequins' favorite French rosé wines from Provence: Whispering Angel, Vie Vite, AIX, and more.

1. Whispering Angel

2. VieVité

3. AIX

4. Domaines Ott Clos Mireille (they have a more affordable bottle, too!)

5. Le Provencal

6. La Vieille Ferme

7. Chateau Beaulieu

8. Triennes

9. Miraval // My least favorite on this list, as I don’t find it to be that light. But it’s one of the few French rosés the Whole Foods near me carries, so I do tend to have it often.

10. And Veuve Clicquot if I’m in the mood for bubbles!

Whispering Angel is one of the best Provence rosés on the market! Shown here with a rose gold copper wine opener.

PS: Check out this post for some of my favorite rosé food pairings and more about the Provence region in France!

Definitely need to keep this on hand! I continue to buy my rose based on the label branding…we’re 50-50 on whether that’s an effective method 🙂

If you ever come across a bottle of Chateau Des Annibals rosé (has an elephant on the bottle) try it! I just discovered it at a wine bar in Birmingham, MI and it’s easily my favorite to date!
