A few friends and I went down to Champaign this past weekend to re-live our college years. I’ve always been told that it’s harder to bounce back after a night out as you get older. Don’t worry guys, I tested out this rumor and let me save you a hangover… it’s true. I had such a great time catching up with all of my younger friends who are still in school so the Sunday Suffering was worth it!
Blazer: Silence + Noise // Chambray Shirt: Madewell // Jeans: Citizens // Necklace: H&M // Watch: Marc By Marc Jacobs // Bracelet & Ring: Nordstrom (old) // Leopard Flats: J.Crew (old, but here’s a similar style) // Bag: J.Crew
Ellen (one of my besties) started Compete for a Cure two years ago. Compete for a Cure is an annual campus-wide basketball & volleyball tournament that benefits the American Lung Association and the Pam Stern Legacy of Hope Fund. A whopping $17,000 was raised within the first two years. Take a guess how much was raised yesterday…. $27,000! So unbelievably amazing! Below is a picture of our volleyball team… I’m so happy we were all able to come back to Champaign to participate in such a great event.
PS – Shout out to the girls that came up to me and complimented Bows & Sequins this weekend! You made my weekend! 🙂
