Trend to Try: Tie-Dye

After the ~hEaVy~ posts this week, I figured it was time to lighten things up with some mood-boosting content! If you’re new around here, I’m essentially a 7-year-old when it comes to rainbows and pastel, unicorn-like prints. 🤷🏼‍♀️🌈🦄 And especially right now… I don’t know if it’s the fact that Coachella got cancelled, how badly I’m longing for summertime, or just the simple fact that all of these tie-dye prints make me HAPPY. But lately, all I’ve got eyes for are unicorn hues that make me smile!

In the collage above, I kept it to pastels to make for a prettier picture, but there are SO MANY fun ways to try tie-dye right now. (And later this summer when we’re able to leave the house!) But let’s have some real talk for a second… Not all tie dyes are created equal! Just like leopard print, there’s a very fine line between cute & classy and absolutely tacky.

I want to shout-out some more fun pieces I found, a lot of which will help you stay comfy and cozy during this quarantine. And some to strut once we can get out and about later on! I’ve also found some pieces at really great price points if you just want to dip your toe into trying the trend without spending much at all. 🤗

Love Shack Fancy can do no wrong in my book. And I am MAJORLY LUSTING over this bodysuit, these sweats, and this hoodie.

This Forever 21 sweatshirt looks great for lounging!

I think this pink midi skirt is gorgeous! The draping looks so chic, and it’s a fun take on the trend while still remaining work wearable. (Obviously depending on your industry, but still!)

This $49 hoodie is too good! I love how subtle the colors are.

I also think these pants are so cool for spring and summer! Love how they’re blue and white, so they’re actually pretty neutral. If you’re in a more creative or casual environment, you could definitely get away with wearing these to the office.
