Friday Finds || Vol. 3, Week 35

It’s been a busy last few weeks around here! Last week, I was in Palm Beach, Florida for five days filming a fun project with Discover the Palm Beaches and Lilly Pulitzer. We had a packed itinerary (I think we shot in 20 different locations, both photo and video at each) so there wasn’t much downtime to explore on my own, but we did get to see and do so much as a part of the shoots! Even though I’ve visited before, there were so many new-to-me spots this time around, so I’ll be sure to compile everything we did into a blog post once I have the photos back from the production team.

And this coming week, I’ll be in Rhode Island for a project with Vineyard Vines from Tuesday-Friday! It’s a holiday shoot, so if there’s anything to catapult you out of a summer mindset after Labor Day Weekend, this will probably do the trick. 😂

Needless to say, this past week in Chicago was all about getting shit done. I basically had to cram three weeks of work, errands, and life to-do’s into a four day span this week, and my sanity levels have been rivaling Britney circa 2007 all week. May or may not have started crying at a nail salon when my nail tech told me to relax my hand, haha. Not even kidding… I felt like I was on the verge of tears all day and that was the straw that just broke the camels back. IT’S FINE, EVERYTHING IS FINE. 😂

No, but really… Everything is more than fine, it was just a stressful, busy week with a lot of moving parts. It’s finally Friday, though, and I could not be more excited! I turn 30 tomorrow…. Crazy, right? Talk about time flying. I truly feel like I just turned 26 yesterday. (Also probably partially why I’ve felt like I’m on the verge of a meltdown all week, haha.) But I’ve got lots of fun plans on the calendar with my friends over the long weekend, and I know it’s going to be one of the best weekends of the summer. Clara always has the best articles… But her latest on Medium (It’s a lesson, not a mini heartbreak.) was particularly great to read, as we had recorded our podcast episode the day before and texted about this encounter the next day!
