Happy, happy Friday! It’s been an interesting week over here… My mom visited on Sunday and Monday (celebrating her birthday!) and then I somehow wound up with plans every single night this week, which was super fun, but I’m feeling all sorts of tired by today. And on the other side of things, my site was down for a few days this week, my emails were somehow messed up, too, and it felt like my creativity and motivation went on a little summer vacay this week. To be honest, I feel like I need a summer vacation myself, and I’m getting all of the anticipatory anxiety of how crazy the next four weeks are going to be. Don’t get me wrong, it’s going to be a lot of fun with so many friends coming in town and some exciting work trips on the calendar, but I’m already feeling a wee bit burnt out, which is typically not a good place to be in when you’re heading into one of the busiest months of the year. Ahh! Deep breaths, Jess.
Hope you have a great weekend! xoxo
Here are this week’s finds…
If you don’t have a slip skirt yet, this one is only $78 and comes in three gorgeous colors! Trust me when I say it’s the most versatile piece to wear now and throughout the fall. I’m also LOVING this leopard printed one! The colors are so unexpected.
And for a fall version of a leopard slide, I couldn’t order these slip-ons fast enough. Truly love at first sight, they’re perfect.
This dress is another fun white eyelet style with more of a shape!
I’m loving all of the fun sunglasses chains I’ve been seeing! Maybe I won’t lose three pairs of sunglasses at Lollapalooza this year… 😂
In love with these leopard workout leggings… Couldn’t order them fast enough.
And for some reads…
I loved Meghan’s post about managing her anxiety. Lots of great tips that I use, as well.
A very interesting look into the world of blogging and “influencers.”
So excited for Mackenzie and Will finally finding a house!
HBO is making a documentary on Ralph Lauren and I can’t wait to watch this fall!
This article on egg freezing and fertility was gutting and beyond eye-opening. I had no idea how low the success rate was…
