Friday Finds || Vol. 3, Week 23

Happy weekend, friends! Oh my gosh, this past week was kind of insane. Past few weeks, really! I wish I wanted to elaborate more, but there’s just been a lot going on and it’s been kind of nice living more of an offline life and soaking up the start of summer in Chicago. Between meetings, moving, out of town friends visiting Chicago, birthdays, babies, boys, bachelorette parties, bridesmaid things, and the not-so-small task of figuring out what I want to do next career-wise, I’ve had plenty on both my mind and to-do lists.

I was out with friends celebrating two of my girlfriends’ birthdays on Friday night, but I took it easy on Saturday and Sunday and didn’t do much besides lounge, workout, catch up on work, and soak up some much-needed alone time. I was planning on going to Old Town Art Fair today (Sunday), but the on-and-off rain all day derailed that plan. Kind of a bummer, but there’s always next year!

Not going to lie, I’m loving the look of this neon top!

I ordered this linen lace-up top faster than I could say “add to cart!” The olive color is simply perfect.

Found a very inexpensive alternative to the flatform espadrilles I’ve been wearing lately! (See them on the blog here!)

I’m so bummed I won’t be able to make it to this event this week… I’ve loved following Indie Lee ever since I heard her on the Bad on Paper Podcast (this episode!) and she’ll be in Chicago this week at Neiman Marcus.

Speaking of fun events, 29 Rooms tickets are on sale now!! (I went last summer and it was so well done!)

My beloved MZ Wallace Metro Tote (I use it as my ‘personal item’ on every single trip!) now comes in the cutest navy and white striped pattern and I’m thinking about buying it to replace my plaid one that I’ve had for ~6 years. There are soooo many cute things I want from Alice & Wonder right now! I mean, how cute is this Chicago tee?! This pearl headband is a must! These MinniDip coolers are just the cutest, and I’m pretty sure I need to plan a shoot on the beach around this confetti beach ball. More faves in the widget below!

Lots of career advice + the cutest summer work outfit!

I have never been good at painting my own nails, but Merritt’s making me want to give at-home manis some practice! I hate sitting at the nail salon, which is why I tend to get gel manicures and let them grow out 3-4 weeks before I go again.
