10 Outfits for the Summer-Fall Transition

This is always such a tricky time to get dressed, isn’t it? You’re freezing in the morning, but by the afternoon, you’re sweating profusely… Sound familiar? Layers are key! Here are some of my top tips for adding in layers and extending the life of some of your summer pieces…

1. Top off your outfit with a moto jacket!

Moto jackets are the ultimate layering piece! Wear them over a dress or your top and jeans.

2. Pull out the suede!

Even if it’s a skirt, suede always makes your outfit seem a bit more seasonally appropriate.

4. Bring on the booties!

9. Incorporate fall colors!

On those hot fall days when it seems silly to wear summer brights, reach for pieces in your favorite fall tones… pumpkin, olive green, navy blue, burgundy, etc.

10. Go for long sleeves!

So much inspiration, thanks for putting it all in one helpful place. I’m going to try a layered dress look and a striped long sleeve tee with a dressier skirt. Very office appropriate!
