Holy moly, you guys. How is tomorrow already Thanksgiving?! I was out of town for all of November (just got back to Chicago on Monday!) so I really feel like the holiday snuck up on me this year. I typically start my gift guides around the blog’s birthday (November 12th marked 6 years!), but it just didn’t happen with my travel schedule. I’ve been scouring the web since I got back and pulling together lots of great gift round-ups to share over the coming weeks! I always try to do my “25 Days of Gift Guides” each holiday season, but there might not be a full 25 this year since I’m getting a late start. But don’t worry, there will still be plenty of my present picks to help you cross everyone off your shopping list!

I always like to kick off my annual gift guide series with my personal holiday wish list! Since my family now flies down to Florida for Christmas each year, I always just ask for my flight as my gift. So while I’m not technically giving this list to anyone (unless you’re reading this, Santa!), it’s always kind of fun to create a wish list for the season! Here’s what I’ve got my eye on…

Living Room Decor // You know you’re getting old when you start putting things for your home on your Christmas list! I’ve been in my apartment in Chicago for 18 months now and I’m slightly embarrassed to say that my living room is still not completely finished. I still need a big piece of art above my couch, a few new throw pillows, and more frames for the gallery wall above/around my TV. There’s really not that much to finish up, I just need to be home long enough to get it done! That’s the goal for January… Stay tuned.

I’ve finally decided on a Gray Malin for the big piece above my couch that will forever remind me of my solo trip to Positano. I need a set of these pillows and these pillows to tie all of my colors and prints together. And I’m slowly but surely finding things to add to my gallery wall! Shoes, Shoes, and More Shoes // Most of the things on my mental “want to buy” list are shoes at the moment! I’m absolutely obsessed with these, these, and these, and am still deciding if I’m going to buy myself one of them as a Christmas present to myself this year. I’m also loving all of J.Crew’s new shoes for the season! And I’ve had these leopard loafers on my wish list since I saw them a few months ago.

Statement Earrings // I’m having a major moment with statement earrings right now! I used to be such a fan of statement necklaces, but I went through a phase (about a year or two) where I kept my jewelry on the minimal side. I’ve been coming back around with statement earrings though… So many cute styles right now!

A Few More Things… // I tried these gold sunglasses on in Hong Kong and fell in love. I have these in white, but I think the wireless black ones are so sleek. (Perfect for the new iPhone 7, too!) I’ve been lusting over a Moncler coat for years… Maybe this will be the year I make it happen? I feel like I deserve one for having to make it through Chicago winters, right? 😂 Oh, and you can’t go wrong with a set of plaid PJs for the holidays!
