New York Fashion Week, Day 2: 9/5/14
Friday is always one of my favorite days of fashion week because so many of my must-see shows and presentations are packed into one crazy day! I kicked off the day by getting a blowout with Joico at Eiji Salon with Mackenzie, Carly, & Hallie. I’m convinced you can never have a bad day if you start it with your girlfriends, a blowout, and two iced coffees. #DoubleFisting
After the four of us were washed, styled, and ready to go, we hopped in a car down to the Kate Spade presentation! Kate Spade is (obviously) always one of my favorites during fashion week. As I browse the looks, I make a mental shopping list of everything that I want for the next season. Sooo.. One of everything, please. All of it.
I wore this Kate Spade dress from the Rio Collection and kept it pretty simple with coordinating black and brown accessories. I’m always up for showing a little leg (because that’s what you do when you were basically born without breasts.. #tmi), but I actually love the longer hemline on this dress. It has the flowy feel of a maxi, but without the whole feet-getting-tangled-in-skirt thing.
