Feeling Festive

I know it seems crazy, but the holidays are just around the corner! Fall has flown by and I think we’re seeing the last little bursts of color on the trees. It’s kind of sad that my absolute favorite season has come and gone, but I do love the holidays and the spirit that’s in the air throughout!

My family keeps it pretty casual for the holidays so I tend to opt for festive looks that aren’tย overlyย dressy. The easiest way for me to feel festive is by incorporating sparkly statement jewelry, metallic fabrics, and a little bit of glitter!

You guys know I’m a sucker for a button-front shirt. I’ve got quite the collection! So hear me loud and clear when I say this — I am OBSESSED with this white shirt from Ann Taylor. It fits so nicely and is great for layering! They call it the ‘perfect’ shirt for a reason!

I know I’ll be wearing this metallic tee all season long, too.. It’s so great for the holidays!

And the pumps with just a subtle shimmer? They’re absolutely perfect for showing a little bit of sparkle, without going over the top. Great for those ladies working in a corporate environment!

ooh… 40% off, nice! I forget that you guys in the U.S. have more of a ‘holiday’ season with Thanksgiving still to come (since ours passed in early October here in Canada). Does that mean we get to start thinking Christmas before you? ๐Ÿ™‚ I remember back in the day as a kid having to “dress up” on holidays which meant wearing an uncomfortable, probably poufy dress, uncomfortable tights, uncomfortable shoes… I like your version much better!

Oh my God. NEED that shirt for the holidays! My family is the same way – pretty casual but I like to add a bit of glam with sparkles or metallics.

You look adorable per usual ๐Ÿ™‚
