Chicago is having SUCH a mild winter. I kid you not, there are highs of 52 and 54 this week. Global warming at it’s finest, I suppose. But hey, I’ll take the warmest temps I can get!
I wore this to brunch at one of my favorite spots in Lincoln Park — Jam ‘n Honey. (Toast & Jam ‘n Honey are my top spots!) The oatmeal pancakes with blueberry and lemon compote are AMAZING. I was literally eating them off of Megan’s plate. So classy.
I’m going to vent here for just a second… It is SO ANNOYING when people gawk/stare/judge as I’m taking outfit pictures outside. I’m sure all of my fellow bloggers will agree. Short Story: This couple walked by and were obviously staring and even pointed. Megan and I get to Jam ‘n Honey and they were actually at the table next to us. THEN they had the waitress take a picture of them at their table. C’mon people, I’m pretty sure you don’t have any room to stare and point at me.

I am dying over this coat – LOVE! Great choice adding the leopard loafers, too…oh, and I couldn’t agree more with you about people staring during photo shoots – so annoying!
Great coat! Is that the couple you mention, in the background? Wouldn’t they be surprised to see themselves here? Smart Wool sox – the only way to go, even if the no-shows do show. Love your snappy style in dress and writing.

This is a perfect brunch outfit! I love the BB Dakota coat, and those sunglasses & flats are too adorable! And yes, so awkward when people stare or make comments during outfit photos. I once had a man lean out his apartment window and ask if I was in a beauty pageant. Either way, you look gorgeous!

I agree with Real Girl Glam… that’s exactly why they were staring… cause you were working it! I’m pretty new to the blogging scene and have mostly taken pictures indoors (mostly because I take them during the week and by the time I get home it is already dark), but I’m sure it is super annoying to have people stare and point!
