A couple of weeks ago the FBFF topic was talking about what inspires us, fashion bloggers. I wasn’t able to chime in to that conversation, but I would agree with the majority — other fashion bloggers inspire me, too. So there ya have it, fashion bloggers inspire fashion bloggers. But there are many other things that influence me…

1. What magazines do you subscribe to?
I subscribe to InStyle (the bible), Elle, Lucky, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, and Martha Stewart Living. I occasionally pick up Elle Decor, Real Simple, People Style Watch or any other cover that sparks my interest!
2. Do you watch any fashion TV shows?
The Rachel Zoe Project (naturally, because I idolize RZ). I try to catch some episodes of Gossip Girl for the clothes. I watch Project Runway if it’s on when I happen to be watching TV. The problem is, I never watch TV. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I honestly wish I watched more TV.
3. Beyond blogs, what websites do you frequent for fashion
inspiration?

RachelZoe.com, NY Magazine Fashion, Refinery 29, Vogue Daily, InStyle, Stylelist, Style.com, Net-a-porter.com
4. Advertisements play a huge role in forming public opinion about a product or brand… what ads do you like and why?
I am OBSESSED with Michael Kors ads. I love how the models are usually tan and blonde and wearing gold accessories — pretty much the look I am going for most of the time.

Instyle is ALSO my favorite magazine! LOVE IT. It’s more pesronal, their website is great, and the feature clothes that I can afford! I’m also obssessed with Michael Kors. He’s my fav designer and his line and ads are fab!
