Two weekends ago, I had the pleasure (or honor, really) of speaking on a panel at the Create & Cultivate Conference in Chicago! I had bought this Gal Meets Glam dress to wear (I love the olive green mixed with light pink!), but as I was picking it up in store (Buy Online, Pick Up in Store is a game changer if you’re not already on board!), I spotted this pretty floral piece and decided to try it on real quick. I loved how it was navy blue and blush pink (my brand colors!), which was pretty fitting for speaking about my blog at the conference.
I fell in love with the fit of this dress the moment I tried it on — it’s so flattering and is perfect for a work setting with the longer hemline and sleeve length. It would also be so cute to wear to a fancier brunch, a family event with your in-laws, church… you name it!
It’s such a gorgeous dress that transitions so well into the fall… Dusty rose is one of my favorite colors to wear well into the fall and winter. And since this dress is rooted in a classic like navy, it’s a no-brainer for year-round wear!
The little smocked details on the sleeves and neckline are such a pretty, feminine touch!
I went with accessories all in the dusty rose realm, too… This fold-over clutch that’s only $40 (I love it carried by the handle, too!), matching round tortoise sunnies that are only $14, and blush pink suede ankle strap heels! I also wore my beloved BaubleBar Crispin Drop earrings, but forgot to put them on when I re-shot this outfit with Melissa. Oops!
