I wore this striped blazer on the blog yesterday (see this post!) with the matching shorts, but I love how each piece can be styled individually, too. This outfit is truly the simplest, but I love how it looks pulled together in it’s own way. (Monochromatic dressing will do that!) I paired this boxy blazer with a simple white tee, white denim, and my newest bag obsession to head out for dinner in Osaka.
If you’ve missed it in the past, check out this post for why these are my favorite white jeans!
If you work in a casual office environment, I love the look of this outfit for Casual Friday! An oversized blazer seems sort of serious, but still trendy enough to head out to dinner or drinks afterwards. Maybe just swap in a chic pair of pointed toe pumps and a classic tote for the workplace.
One of my favorite styling tips to switch things up? Instead of tucking in your shirt to accentuate your waist, try tying a little knot in your tee instead. It adds a little bit of interest to an otherwise basic combination of a jeans and a t-shirt..
It’s about time for me to grab another pair of these heels! Mine are looking a little too loved lately… I bought them last summer for a wedding and they’ve been some of my most lived in heels throughout last summer, fall, winter vacations, and already this spring… The heel height is perfect and they’re pretty easy to wear all night long!
