It’s finally Friday! Wow, this week was L-O-N-G. I feel like I fit three weeks worth of work and activities into this week. The next 5-6 weeks are going to be super busy for me on the travel front (back to back to back trips, two of which are international) so I’ve been extra conscious about getting ahead on blog posts, staying current on emails, etc. I’ve also been trying to squeeze in all of the workouts since I’ll be in crop tops and shorts at Coachella next weekend! There’s never enough hours in the day, is there?!
One of the highlights of my week was going to afternoon tea at The Langham on Wednesday for one of my girlfriends’ birthdays! Such a fun way to play hooky for a few hours. The Langham is the most gorgeous hotel (see this post and this post for pics), but I’d never actually had their tea service in Chicago until this week. (Merritt and I had the afternoon tea when we stayed at The Langham in Hong Kong in 2016!) It definitely did not disappoint, I’d highly recommend going for a little girls day in Chicago! It felt like spring inside even though it was snowing outside… And on that note: Come on, Chicago. Get it together!
I’m heading home quickly this weekend for my nephew’s baptism on Sunday, but I’ve yet to figure out exactly when I’m heading there or for how long I’ll be staying. I so badly want to spend some quality time with my family, but I feel like I have so much to do in Chicago before I leave this Wednesday.
Hope you have a great weekend, friends! xoxo JRS

I’m considering going to Haiti this June, but still trying to figure out if it’s the right time for me financially and with everything else on my plate. Ashley’s trip recap sounds so incredible though! And I’d be going with a few girls that I love. Ahh, decisions, decisions.
shop to it!
Remember on my last trip to London how I fell in love with Charbonnel et Walker chocolate shop?! Well you can now shop their beautiful boxes of truffles at Nordstrom! You can’t go wrong with any of their sea salt caramel variations, but the Milk Sea Salt Caramels are my favorite!
I bought these heels for a wedding I was in last summer (a nude suede color that’s not currently available) and they turned out to be my most-worn shoes all summer, fall, and even on vacation, too. They’re so dang comfortable, definitely going to grab another pair!
Im in love with this baseball cardigan! So, so SO cute.
I’m loving these woven mules. (I feel like the “cushiony” look is v trendy right now!) They come in black, blush pink, and a dusty blue… All three are so perfect for spring and summer.
This fruit slice squeezer is maybe the most inventive thing I’ve ever seen! I feel like I need to bring it to the bars with me… I’m always squeezing my lemons into my Tito’s & Water and getting lemon juice everywhere.
AH! How cute is this little wicker basket bag?!
I was browsing around on Aldo this week and found SO many great (super affordable!) styles for spring and summer.
Love the colors on this striped sweater!
How gorgeous are these raffia slides?!
Scooped up this classic tee this week.

Loving this striped jumpsuit!

I so wish I was going to be in LA on May 6th… This event revolving around your Saturn’s Return looks epic! (I’ve mentioned it before, but I’m in the midst of mine right now and f*ck, it’s kind of a bitch.)
