While I may be writing this from sunny Australia (sorry!), I know lots of places in the US are freezing and getting hit with snow. I’ve only been gone for two weeks, but I honestly can’t even remember what winter feels like. Funny how that happens, huh?
Before I left for California & Australia, I wore this outfit a few different times… Brunch at Beatnik for one of my girlfriends’ birthdays (so good! and the decor is amazing.) and again for a casual lunch meeting at Beatrixย (one of my faves!). Grey on grey felt a little more fresh than my usual all-black wintertime uniform this time of year. How long until Spring?!

Nice to be in California and Australia for a while to escape a good chunk of Chicago winter. I wish I could be is Australia for a while too to escape winter. NYC was 60F yesterday. This time of year that does not last long and usually comes with rain. As for the outfit I like the jacket and the ankle booties. Getting tired of winter outfits its time for an uplift to spring outfits if you know what I mean. (:)
