Friday Finds || Weeks 50 & 51

Jessica Sturdy wearing a black jeweled hair bow from J.Crew.

Happy Friday! I’m sure it’s been a busy week gearing up for the holidays ahead. With last minute shopping, wrapping gifts, preparing to travel, prepping for guests, tying up loose ends at work before time off… This week can be a lot to handle! (At least it was for me.) I actually had to “take the day off” yesterday… I didn’t open my inbox or even touch my computer all day. (Until I had to finish this post at 1am, haha.) I felt a little guilty, but I couldn’t tell you the last time that happened and it was a much-needed breather. So if you’re in a similar boat right now, don’t be afraid to take some time for yourself!

I’ve got another day or two before I’m heading to my hometown for the holidays and I’m quite excited for the weekend. I’m going to pop by the Christkindl Market here in Chicago tonight (haven’t been in YEARS!), which should be a nice little dose of festive fun. I’ve got a massage booked on Saturday morning and concert tickets on Saturday night before heading home on Sunday. I’ve also got a sh*tload of wrapping and packing to do and I’m going to try to squeeze in a few more workouts before the gluttony that’s sure to ensue around Christmas. 🙂

Safe travels and happy holidays, my friends! xoxo JRS

Here are my favorite finds from the week…

How cute is this little bow tote?

I got these Sandro velvet bow loafers when I was in Paris in September and just found an identical pair for $48!! They’re available in black and red… A must-have.

Just added this wallet and this phone case to my Christmas list. Pretty please, Santa!

Loving these self-care tips from Grace! Helpful now during the holidays and beyond, too.

I’ve listened to this podcast multiple times this week. So, so, so many great topics around relationships discussed!

Remember my velvet cami(s) from last year? (Styled here and here.) It’s back in stock in three colors!

Wowza… The reason Catt Sadler left E!

Love, love, love this post from Brighton about prepping for 2018.

I also loved reading this interview and how honest Sara Haines is about dating, relationships, children, and more.

How to Travel on a Budget … So many great tips! Would you be interested in me sharing some of my tips, too?

So in love with these Mischa Lampert beanies… They’re pretty pricey, but they’re so thick and cozy!

This beanie is a great alternative for under $50!

I was in Bluemercury a few weeks ago and chatting with the sales person about how much I love this Caudalie mask. She then recommended I try this mask from Bobbi Brown and I’m so thankful she did! I’m absolutely obsessed with it and have been wearing it quite a few times a week. It’s a sleeping mask so you leave it on overnight. If you’re thinking you’re going to ruin your bedding, I hear you, and I assure you that’s not the case. The consistency is almost between a thick moisturizer like La Mer and a thick mask like the Caudalie one. It’s so hydrating, but skins into your skin so you can sleep into it!

I got this Anderson Lilley candle this week and IT’S SO GOOD! The scent is amazing… Something you can burn all winter long. Love it.

How cute is Mackenzie in this plaid skirt?!

Hoping I win the lottery before Coachella because this fanny pack is just too good.

I found this black faux fur coat on sale here!

This round-up is so good. I haven’t bought an Anderson Lilley candle yet, but their body creams are excellent. (They’re also great for your feet in the winter!) Thank you for introducing me to so many new blogs! Have a great holiday!!
