I’m never quick to hop back into jeans when the temperatures start to dip… I always opt pair my shorts, skirts, and dresses with long sleeves and layers on top! While I love a good pair of denim, bare leg season is my favorite and tend to hold onto it as long as I can.
I wore this tie-front crop top with a pair of high-waisted pleated shorts a few weeks ago when the evening breeze had a bit of chill in the air. With stripes, slides and a straw tote, it still felt August appropriate, but long sleeves made it just a tad bit more practical!

What a chic late summer outfit. I love it. I love the tie front top. I too am not ready to put the dresses, shorts, skirts & sandals away just yet. Still about another month of NYC summer left before winter blows in. Columbus day time to me is around the drop dead time for NYC summer. After that all bets off for summer weather.
