Friday Finds || Week 35

A little late is better than never, right? Hope you’ve had a wonderfully relaxing Labor Day, my friends! I spent the long weekend on Nantucket, celebrating both my 28th birthday and Mackenzie & Will’s wedding, and couldn’t have had a better time. In fact, Lauren and I are already planning our trip next summer! I’ll be posting a little travel guide of sorts later this week… So many great spots to shop, eat, drink, etc.

I’m currently on a flight to Paris for a fun little work project this week and I’m so so so excited to be back in my favorite city! But between Nantucket and Paris, I spent last night and the first half of today in Boston and forgot just how much I liked it there. The first and last time I visited Boston when I was in 8th grade on a school trip and I remember calling my mom and exclaiming that one day I would live in Beacon Hill. 15 years later and I guess my tastes haven’t changed that much… 13 year old Jess knows what’s up! I’ve made a mental note to book a trip and spend some more time there, a quick 18 hour stay was definitely not enough.

Here’s what’s been on my radar over the last week or so…

First and foremost, I can’t say how saddened I am by the devastation in the south from Hurricane Harvey. I’ve donated to a few different organizations over the last week… You can find a great list of ways to help and where to donate here on the NY Times! There’s also an Amazon Wish List here where you can order items to be sent to those in need.

Lauren just got back from the south of France and the French Riviera is now at the top of my travel list! Crossing my fingers and toes I can make it happen next summer. Check out her Saint Tropez travel guide here!

I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect fall bootie and I think this pair may just be it. Great toe shape, the heel is only 3″, and I’ve heard they’re insanely comfortable. Plus, you know the brand makes quality shoes that last! (They’re also available in navy here!)

This jacket was a major splurge when I was on Nantucket (bought it at Perch!), but let’s just count it as a birthday gift to myself? It’s just so dang cute, I couldn’t leave the store without it. (And it actually came in handy on my trip when it was 60 and raining on Sunday in both Boston and Nantucket!)
