Just so we’re clear, the blue and white (with pops of red) theme isn’t going anywhere now that the Fourth has come and gone! Blue and white is my summer uniform of sorts, and you can’t go wrong with classic pops of red. I wore this crop top and skirt twice over the holiday weekend (the perks of hanging with different friend groups!) and I have a feeling I’ll be re-wearing it again soon, too. A flirty top and a high-waisted skirt tends to be my going out go-to in the summertime! My friends and I kept it pretty casual over the long weekend… BBQs, patio hopping, pool hangouts, and ice cream runs (obvi).
I wore this outfit as I’m wearing it here, and again with these white slides and these red statement earrings for watching fireworks on the 4th! This ruffled crop top was a score from Nordstrom (under $60) and for as much as I love it, I’m going to order it in red, too. This striped skirt is on major sale right now (50% off!) and I’m half-tempted to order it in red, as well.

Update: I’ve gotten a few emails about sizing since I posted this morning. I’m wearing a small in the top and a small in the skirt. I’d say the top runs true-to-size, and for the skirt, I’d size down if you are in between sizes. (For reference, I’m a size 4.)
