I’m all about easy dresses that can be worn now, but will transition seamlessly to cooler fall weather, too! Meet my new favorite dress:ย this little floral number from Nordstrom that’s under $80. I picked up this dress for NYFW and liked it so much that I ended up wearing it twice… Once to the Project Runway finale taping and once with a straw hat and crossbody bag for brunch with friends!
I love how the dress is perfectly feminine without being over the top. The lace bowtie around the neck, ditsy floral pattern, and sweet ruffles at the sleeve could be a lot, but the muted color palette in black, blue, and beige make the dress extremely versatile for months to come! The dress is breezy, without losing too much shape. I’d recommend sizing down if you’re in between sizes — I’m wearing a small and have plenty of room!
I actually just landed in Londonย early this morning (more on that to come!) and packed this dress again for London Fashion Week. This time, I plan on styling it with a pair of black over-the-knee boots (either flat or heeled, depending on my day) and a moto jacket! Once the weather really tips down, you can definitely pair this dress with tights and ankle booties, too. It’s such a great find, especially for only being $79!

Still summer like weather in NYC. Have not even pulled out my jacket or ankle booties yet at all. I love your outfit. It looks great with summer sandals or high heel open toe booties. Looks OK with boots too.
