While it can be easy to get wrapped up in holiday wish lists and the sort, I always like to remind myself that this is truly is the season of giving.

Hot chocolate has a way of instantly putting me in a holiday state of mind! During the fall, I’m all about the hot apple cider and pumpkin spice lattes, but you can’t beat a cup of hot chocolate in December. Growing up, I remember making hot chocolate at home with my two little brothers and trying to eat more marshmallows that my mug could fit. And not much has changed now that I’ve gotten older. There’s nothing more festive than a cup of hot chocolate! Just like you would imagine from their must-have truffles, GODIVA Hot Chocolate is rich and creamy with a dark chocolate taste. It’s such a sweet treat, especially during the holidays.
I only live three blocks away from the GODIVA store in Chicago, which has made it a little bit too easy to pop into the store and indulge with a cup of hot chocolate. I swung by the store last week to stock up on boxes of truffles for holiday gifts and my timing couldn’t have been better. The same afternoon, I found myself in a situation where someone had a holiday gift for me and it hadn’t even occurred to me that this would be the last time I saw her before Christmas. I pulled one of the pretty gold boxes out from the bag underneath my tree and played the whole thing off like it was planned! Luckily, GODIVA’s packaging is elegant enough that you don’t need to worry about wrapping. The smaller boxes of truffles are perfect to keep on hand for unexpected gifts, stocking stuffers, and a little something extra to add to larger gifts.
