It’s always the weeks where you’re counting down until a trip that feel the longest. Am I right? I really can’t believe today isn’t Friday… This week has felt like it’s been a few weeks long! But maybe that’s just becauseย I’m headed back to Illinois today, and I’ve been longing for this trip for weeks and weeks and weeks. I’m spending the weekend with my family to celebrate my dad’s birthday and Mother’s Day! I’m so excited to snuggle withย my dogs, laugh with my mom, cringe at my dad’s jokes, spend time with my brothers, niece, and grandmas… The list could go on and on. Homesick would be an understatement!
I picked up this little number a while ago at Hallie’s event and I’ve been dying to wear it ever since. I wore it out for aย Saturday night in Dallas a few weeks ago and it was perfect for the Texas heat. I know I’ll be wearing it a ton this summer, too — Hamptons season is right around the corner!
