Confession: I don’t think I’ve ever shopped at New York & Company before. But when I take the subway to work, I walk by the NY&Co windows between the subway stop and my office. When I saw this dress on the mannequin a few weeks ago, I stopped dead in my tracks. I instantly started reminiscing about this Red Valentino trench from last Spring that I was OBSESSED with. The amount of times that I tried that jacket on at Nordstrom on Michigan Ave. was a bit ridic. I OBVI couldn’t (and can’t) afford to spend $1200 on a trench, but I was head over heels for that drifting floral print. So spotting this dress in an almost identical print, yeah, I just about died!
The store wasn’t open yet, so naturally, I got on my phone to see if the dress was available online. Negative. I had to wait until after work and it was basically meant to be… one dress left, in my size (Well, it was a size bigger, but I made it work!), and everything in the store was 50% off. So yes, I got this beauty for a mere $35. I could hardly contain my excitement!
Which is probably why I was twirling through Madison Square Park when I first wore it… ๐

Love that you paired that mint belt with it. I think it really livens it up and makes it look like a more expensive outfit.

In love with this dress! I saw a similar one by Lauren Conrad for Kohls and fell in love.
Very cute! Can’t wait to break out my floral dresses too!
I have really been loving all the florals lately, and this is by far my favorite! I may have to stop off at NY&Co this evening, because this dress would be perfect for a wedding I’m going to this weekend ๐
This dress is GORGEOUS!!!! I love floral dresses right now. Too bad they don’t have it online though! That’s where I do the majority of my shopping.
I’ve found NY&Company to be hit and miss most often, but I’ve got a great maxi dress from there that I wear all the time. Convenient that you walk past it on your way to work, if there’s something awesome to be found, you’ll see it! This dress is super cute.

I haven’t been there in years, but judging by this dress I might have to stop back in! Your ASOS belt matches perfectly with the green in your dress. Gorgeous!
I am loving your dress! Not too long ago I was considering buying a dress similar to this one, but for some reason it did not fit me by my shoulders. Super sad that day.
