Bundled Up

It was a cold one in NYC this weekend! I’m hoping the temperatures raise a bit for NYFW this week (!!), but it’s not looking likely.

I’m at the point where I am just OVER the cold. I don’t even need it to be summer, I just want to be able to wear a skirt without tights. Sue me.

As a result of feeling blah about the weather, all I want to wear are things that will keep me cozy and warm. Cue Sorel Snow Boots and a chunky sweater!

^^ My new addiction: David’s Tea. If you’re overwhelmed by the amazing menu, I’ve got plenty of suggestions. Don’t hesitate to ask! 🙂

My current favorites: Red Velvet Cake and Love Tea #7

Lands’ End Sweater (old) / BDG Olive Jeans (old) / Sorel Boots / Nordstrom Cashmere Scarf (old) / Michael Kors Watch / gifted Bauble Bar Pavé Links Bracelet / Elie Tahari Coat (similar versions: herehere, here)

Thanks for taking my pictures, Rose!

I couldn’t agree with you more – I am SO over this winter and I am practically refusing to wear tights at this point…I’d rather wear pants or freeze! 🙂

Ok, now I have to look up David’s Tea. Darn you!
Yesterday I wore my Rowan shoes that I bought thanks to you. Loved them. Of course it meant wearing a dress which was j.u.s.t. f.i.n.e.
I have Ed checking out your blog over my shoulder. He says “Looks like a different person with the lipstick on.” Bring it on!

I don’t think these pictures do how cold it was justice! Maybe if people knew how white/red hands get in this kind of cold. Except no one wants to see that on anyone haha. I know you just want bare legs weather, but I do want summer-is it here yet?! (commence pouting).

Well, it is about 70 in Dallas and I wish we had just one week of consistently cold weather. But, it’s like 5 degrees in New York so I’ll change my mind once I get there! Eeks xo
