I have been drenching myself in color recently. Bright nails, bright pants, bright jewelry. Heck, even a bright attitude! BRIGHT. BRIGHT. BRIGHT!
I chose to wear a bright, color-blocking outfit for the Girls of Lincoln Park party at Cynthia Rowley on Armitage in Lincoln Park last night. Get used to this sweater because you’ll be seeing it a lot. mint jeans, white jeans, pink gingham shorts … I basically plan to wear it with every bottom I own!
Open-Knit Sweater: Hive & Honey
Hot Pink Denim: H&M (similar)
Orange Necklace: J.Crew
Gold Sandals: Seychelles
Pink Bow Ring: Forever 21
Nails: Essie ‘Turquoise & Caicos’
Trish McEvoy was also at the event doing makeovers. I tend to dislike random makeup artists doing my makeup, but I LOVED the guy that did mine last night. Trish McEvoy has some awesome products right now! They were doing a special promo kit for the event with 5 amazing items for $60 bucks. I bought it. Shocking. It is being shipped, but I absolutely cannot wait for it to get here! There was a miracle-inducing concealer that actually hid my dark circles, a highlighter pen that was phenomenal, a pretty eyeshadow palette, and two other items that I’m currently drawing a blank on.
Me and Katie & Lauren from The Girls of Lincoln Park.
Me and Stephen from Stephen Style. (And Lauren from Nico & Lala in the back!)
And of course, I had to take some scenery shots…
I love the pink bows!
Cute “Tiffany blue” bags!
